The Egyptian actress Summaya Al Khashab denied rumors that she is secretly married to the famous Egyptian producer Kamel Abu Ali.
Summaya said that she was shocked by the rumors, because she has only been with the producer at working sites and his company, just like any artist seeking a new acting role in a new movie.
Summaya said there is a lot of respect between her and Kamel, and she would hate for anything to negatively affect their friendship. She also said that he was one of the first producers to support her at the beginning of her acting career in her first film “Izai Al Banat Thibak” (How Can the Girls Love you).
They also worked together on the films “Khiyana Mashroo’ah” (Legitimate Betrayal) and “Heen Maysarah,” and now they are working together on Somaya’s latest film “Al Kazino” (The Casino).
Kamel also denied the rumors, asserting that what ties him to the famous actress “is only good friendship.” He also said that he respects Summaya and that she is like a sister to him.
Kamel described the rumors as disrespectful, and challenged the journalists who spread the rumors to prove their allegations.
