While some news websites recently reported that Nour el Sherif has jetted off to London on a medical trip, others claimed that he's in the US for the same reason.

The 68-year-old Egyptian actor reportedly flew out to London - or was it America? - in a hurry to get treated for severe foot pain, which was allegedly caused by a lack of blood flow to his limbs.

Egyptian director Omar Abdel Aziz, who's a very close friend of Nour's, also said in a statement that his buddy's health is far from OK, adding that he wishes Nour would "come back and get treated in Egypt and die there."

But Nour's daughter says that her daddy is as strong as a horse!

According to Laha magazine, Nour's daughter denied any deterioration in her father's health, stressing that his US trip (so it wasn't London after all!) was planned, not sudden, and he was only there for a routine check up!

Kuwaiti writer Fajr al Said confirmed the credibility of Nour's daughter's statement with a tweet, "The rumors about Nour el Sherif's health are untrue. I've just gotten off the phone with Boussi, the mother of his children, and she told me that he's doing fine and they're back in Egypt next week."

Boy are we glad to hear that and equally excited for Nour's return to the small screen in a new TV series titled "Awlad Mansour Al Tahami" (Mansour Al Tahami's Children).

Filming begins once the healthy lead actor is back from the US nest week! Let's hope he's been given a clean bill of health.
