Tourism Minister Michel Pharaon honored on Wednesday the talented film-maker Sonia Antoine Habib by granting her an honorary shield in recognition of her movie "Out of Darkness" which won a prize at the International Film Festival in the Czech Republic and which embodied the aspect of co-existence in Lebanon.
Paharaon delivered a speech in which he congratulated Habib on her Film, hoping for more Lebanese youth aspiring to represent Lebanon in the best way and raise the name of this country in the Arab and international forums.
"Media tourism is an important element in this sector, and Lebanon has participated in the Cannes International Film Festival with a Lebanese movie which we hope would win as happened with Sonia Habib," the Minister noted.
"Stability and calm in Lebanon lead to achievements, and the current security developments are bound to restore the stability needed by the Lebanese to show the world the creativity and success they are capable of," he concluded.
