ALBAWABA - Lebanese singer Fadel Chaker will be released from jail after the judge of the military court in Lebanon, Wassim Fayyad, approved on Wednesday morning a request made by the artist's lawyer, as Foachia reported exclusively.
The singer's lawyer, Dr Amata Mubarak, sent a request to the court in Lebanon asking for the release of singer Fadel Chaker after a deterioration of his health inside jail.
The decision to release Chaker comes in the context of his ongoing trial before Military Court Judge, Brigadier General Wassim Fayyad, who continues to hear witness testimonies about the “Abra battle events,” which took place in June 2013, in which Chaker is accused of joining Ahmed al-Assir’s group, which fought against the Lebanese army, resulting in the deaths of innocent people.

The case is witnessing positive developments towards the declaration of Fadel Chacker's innocence.
The decision to release star Fadel Chaker came in view of the positive development in his legal case, and the anticipation of his acquittal on charges of fighting the Lebanese army in the "Abra battle events", as well as the medical report submitted by his legal representative, regarding his health condition from the military hospital in Beirut, where he remained for 48 hours under medical observation after he was urgently transferred there last Friday, as a result of his suffering from a health problem, as he suffers from high blood sugar, weakness of vision, as well as a blockage in some of the heart arteries, which requires continuous medical follow-up, and the law guarantees him the right to continue treatment.
