Did Sherine Abdelwahab seriously accuse Haifa Wehbe of offering sexual favors?
According to Elaph news, she so did! Rumor has it that the Egyptian singer is in hot water after making the comments in an interview with Egyptian newspaper “Al Youm 7.”
Sherine profusely denied making such demeaning comments, even though “Al Youm 7” threatened to publish the interview upon her return to Egypt from Lebanon, following “The Voice Arabia” finale.
It’s also been said that Sherine had begged them not to publish the interview, where she specifically targeted Haifa’s welcoming comments to Ricky Martin during his appearance on “The Voice Arabia” finale, saying that “Haifa should have waited until the end of the show and invited Ricky to dinner and showed him how a person is really welcomed Haifa-style.”
Unsurprisingly, Sherine’s comments were interpreted as sexual in nature.
But the newspaper wasn’t afraid of Sherine and did eventually publish a segment of her interview to prove to readers that they were telling the truth.
Sherine further requested the newspaper not to publish the statements she’d made about the nature of her relationship with her business manager, who is her right-hand man!
