Despite the failure of his previous film “Falah Fil Congress” (A Farmer in Congress), Egyptian folk singer Shabaan Abdul Rahim is thinking of entering a new acting experience by taking part in the new film “Harami Fil Dakhelieh” (A Thief in the Interior Ministry). The singer is very skeptical about undergoing a cinematic experience not wanting to face disappointment, especially since the previous film witnessed such failure and made no profit.
Shabaan’s only successful acting experience was through the film “Muatin, Mukhbir, wa Harami” (A Citizen, an Investigator, and a Thief), which witnessed large profits.
The song “I hate Israel” by Abdul Rahim has been the main cause of his success and popularity throughout the Arab world and abroad. The singer has constantly released songs that deal with political issues simply expressing his point of view with regards to different incidents that occur in the world.
Shabaan had once again released a new political song in which he is directing his speech to all Arab leaders telling them to open their eyes and look around them to see the destruction the United States of America and Israel are doing. The new song “Ya Am Ya Arabi” is witnessing enormous success in the Palestinian occupied territories. Shabaan goes on to say that Sharon is behind the September 11th attacks on the US and Israel has intentionally placed the blame on Arabs in order to create chaos and to make the world think they are savages.
Shabaan also stresses that the American government is not doing anything to improve the conditions in the region, but on the contrary it is destroying more than building. He adds that the US and Israel work together to make themselves stronger than any other country in order to bully smaller countries into doing as they please.
Abdul Rahim has revealed that he has turned down an offer to sing in the United States of America fearing assassination by the Jewish movement Mossad with the help of the CIA. The singer had received an invitation to sing his popular song “I Hate Isreal” in America for 60 thousand US dollars, but the fear for his life made him overlook the thought of going. – Albawaba.com
