Sally Hafez who stormed a bank with fake gun becomes movie star

ALBAWABA - Sally Hafez the young Lebanese woman who stormed a bank in Lebanon on Sep. 14, 2022, with a fake gun in demand of withdrawing part of her frozen funds to treat her sister, is once again the talk of the internet and news outlets alike. 

According to Al Arabiya, The Lebanese woman who is currently facing security charges became trending again after an announcement confirmed that her story would reach the world of cinema after receiving a movie and film about the bank incident.

Lebanon has been suffering from economic issues for years and still is and many Lebanese people have confirmed that due to this exact issue, local banks have been freezing their hard-earned funds which forced people like Sally Hafez to storm her bank and take the funds with force as mentioned above. 

Sally told Al Arabiya news that the movie will cover the story of her life in general and the reason she had to storm the bank to treat her ill sister. Moreover, she also revealed that a company based in Dubai under the name of "Front Row Productions" required the rights to produce films, documentaries, and series about her.

Additionally, Sally confirmed that she's not participating in acting and that her work will only include interviews with the production team. 

Sally added that Lebanese people are still storming banks in demand of their frozen funds despite the "media blackout". She added: 

"I encourage people to continue doing so, because this is their right, knowing that a day after I stormed the bank, there were 15 raids on several banks in different regions". 

Unfortunately, Sally revealed that her sister's health is still deteriorating as the funds from the bank which were around $12,000 were only a small amount of the medical fee.
