Tunisian singer Saber Rebai has one sweet wife! The latest news in the couple's life is that Miss Rebai starred in one of her hubby's music video clips.
The wifey said that taking part in the video for “Kesh Malek” (Check Mate) was a total surprise, but a pleasant one. “I was so happy and scared at the same time, as I've never been in front of the camera in that way before; I'm not used to lighting and filming. We headed to Lebanon and met with Director Fadi Haddad who explained to me the video's storyline,” she said.
Miss Rebai continued: “I loved the video's idea and Saber gave me some acting tips. The best thing was spending the whole time filming laughing and joking around. It was fun because the story in the video didn't represent our real lives in any way. The funniest moment was when I had to secretly smell his clothes and check his phone behind his back.”
The happy couple headed to a special dinner hosted by MBC in Dubai a week later, which was attended by other stars and VIPs. One of the stars attending was Lebanese singer Najwa Karam, who happened to be wearing the same exact dress as Rebai's wife! Thankfully, it was in a different color, but still!
Miss Rebai commented on the incident saying: “I'm just a normal person, my husband is the star, not me. I said to myself I wish I didn't wear this dress... I didn't buy it especially for this dinner, I bought it a while ago and wore it in the video, which was filmed a week before this dinner. I don't feel bad for myself, I feel bad for Najwa. We sat together that evening and she looked bothered by the fact we were wearing the same dress. You know, she's the star, fans wait to see what she's going to look like next and she's supposed to look different to anyone else at any event she's attending.”
