Prominent Lebanese diva Sabah began feeling severe pain in her shoulder and was immediately admitted to a hospital. She previously had an operation requiring screws to be placed in her shoulder, and doctors quickly discovered that the screws had loosened.

Sabah immediately underwent a surgery to have the screws tightened and was given strict orders by her doctors to avoid any strenuous activity, and to remain home until she has completely recovered.

Sabah is scheduled to make a comeback to the small screen in the new television comedy “Azizi Al Natour Wa Al Sit Budoor.” The series is comprised of 26 episodes, starring Sabbah and Kareem Abu Shaqra, who wrote the script.
The series revolves around a wealthy woman, played by Sabah, and the love and understanding between her and her husband is a common theme. The series is expected to be a success due to the popularity she enjoys around the Arab world.

Sabah stole the spotlight at the grand opening of the Seventh Annual Arabic Music Festival in Rabat, Morocco as she made a startling entry dressed in an exquisite white gown. Sabah was able to make the audience forget about having to wait an hour for the launching of the festival, and proceeded to engage in a memorable photo-op with journalists and fans.

The festival honored the great singer for her lifetime of achievements, and in celebration she sang “Ma Ana Ila Bashar” (I’m only human), originally recorded in the seventies upon a request by the late Moroccan king Alhassan II, reported Al Bayan, the UAE based daily.

Sabah has chosen a number of her most popular hits, like “Dakhlak E’younak” and “Jeeb El Mijwiz,” in order to create remixes for a soon be released collection.

The music production company Rotana has filmed a new music video for Sabah, titled “Bithibo El Dini” (You Love the World). The video is directed by Arman Ghazara and was filmed in Body Ma’louli studio in just one day.
