Has Egyptian bellydancer Dina chosen her fellow Egyptian folk singer Saad El Sughayar yet again to star in her new movie? Umm, not exactly!
This time Saad was not on top of Dina’s list! She said that her upcoming film “Souk Al Kanto” (The Kanto Market) will star a big-time, well-known actor. Why, how intriguing! The “actress” has already signed her contract with the film’s producer Ahmad El Sabki.
Have the two Egyptian fallen out then? According to Dina, all is dandy between her and Saad, who’s starred in every single one of her other movies.
But more about the movie and less about the actors now; Dina explained film’s idea to Laha Magazine, saying: “The film is based around a garment market, and I play the role of common girl who works in it. I’ve decided to work with Ahmad El Sabki this year, after working with his brother Mohammad El Sabki for the past five years and achieving tremendous success in most of the films we presented.”
Filming of “The Kanto Market” will begin once Dina completes working on her new drama series "Al Murafa" (The Trial), which is currently taking place at the Media Production City in Egypt. In the drama, Dina plays the role of a broken-down woman struggling in her married life.
