Egyptian acting superstar, Rania Farid Shawki, stated that she has no fear in playing the role of a mother on the small screen, despite admitting it may be a challenge considering her youthful looks!

The recent divorcee revealed that the role in the new television drama, “Lahthat Da’if” (A Moment of Weakness), will see her star  along side legendary Syrian actor  Jamal Suleiman and is a world away from every other character she has had to play, pushing her abilities to the limits.

According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, our ebullient Egyptian is to fall in love in the drama, due top be aired in Ramadan, but for reasons unknown the couple do not run off in to the sunset to live happy lives together. But fate brings the two lovers back together.

Shawki also noted that  that the cast and crew of the highly anticipated drama are working round the clock to ensure that the show is ready for the annual Ramadan drama marathon.
