Is it bragging or simply calling out misinformation for Ragheb Alama to adamantly assure he makes way bigger bucks than reported on air a Lebanese satellite channel?

A program on "Al Jadeed TV" discussed the deets of the salaries our region's celebs, sharing numbers that the Arab Idol judge claims are not even close to the amount of dough actually doled out.

Taking to Twitter to announce his response, Ragheb posted, "Good Morning, I am watching a program on 'Al Jadeed TV' that is talking about the details and numbers of some of the salaries that me and other celebrities are being paid, and I would like to inform you that the information you are claiming to be facts is very wrong."

According to Sayidaty.net, Ragheb added, "for example, I know for a fact that Lebanese singers Najwa Karam, Nancy Ajram and others are being paid double of what was stated in the report. What is the point of giving numbers that are far from being realistic." He continued, "The report stated that Lebanese singer Julia Boutrus produces and funds her own performances, then they gave a price for her concerts!!! How could this be possible, does this mean that Julia pays herself to perform?"

Ragheb concluded his tweet saying, "At the end of the story, such reports are meaningless and based on assumptions, so say what you wish."

Hmm...how much cash do you suppose he and Maya Diab are making in Dubai this weekend for their World Trade Center Mall meet and greet tonight, followed by a rockin' gig tomorrow?! If his Tweet is true, it'll be no small chunk of change, that's for sure!
