One Direction mania hit the Middle East after the British boy band announced they would be taking a well-deserved year-long break in 2016.
Thousands of the band's fans took to Twitter to protest the "shocking" news, with some even threatening to kill themselves, with one tweep writing "If 1D takes a break and splits I'm gunna kill myself," reported The Daily Mail.
Meanwhile, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson's Arab fans didn't take the news too well either.
"@onedirection y'all better drag your butts down to the middle east again,"
Former 1D member Zayn Malik, 22, left the band earlier this year, prompting the boys' fanatic fans to believe that the three remaining members are splitting up and not taking a break to "pursue separate interests" as they claim.
If the boys really call it quits, they would have each made an estimated £27million since getting together in 2010 after appearing on the X Factor, according to The Daily Mail.
Hey Directioners, don't despair, you've still time to watch the boys on tour in North America and Europe until October.
The group’s last scheduled stadium concert will be in Sheffield, England on Oct 31. They will promote their new album in February, after a Christmas break, the Sun said.
