Feels almost like some kind of a "death" domino effect is taking place in Egypt this week.
While the Middle East is still in shock only one day after the death of Egyptian actor Nour el Sherif (Tuesday, August 11), yet another Egyptian legendary actor passed away, leaving the Arab entertainment world saddened and confused.
Ali Hasanain, best known for his epic roles in "The King is the King" and "Apple," died aged 76 on Wednesday morning, August 12, reported Shorouk News.
Born in Alexandria in 1939, Hasanain started acting in 1954. Ironically, both Hasanain and Sherif starred together in the movie "Searching for Mr. Marzouk" in 1990.
Ashraf Zaki, head of the Actors Syndicate said that Hasanain will be "buried in Alexandria and the post funeral reception will be held in Cairo,” according to Egypt Independent.
RIP, Ali, you will be missed too.
