It's been heartbreaking to hear about the death of Egyptian actress Nirmeen Al Fiqi's mother last week. Nirmeen's mother fought a long battle with cancer before losing her life to the disease.
Nirmeen was in the US when she received the devastating news. The funeral was postponed until the starlet quickly rushed back to Egypt.
At the funeral, Nirmeen was unable to control her grief and hysterically broke down in tears. According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, a number of female celebs close to Nirmeen, including Hanan Shawki and Ghada Ibrahim, stood by her to accept condolences from friends and family and comforted the distraught star.
Among the celebrities who paid their condolences at the star's home were Dalal Abdel Aziz, Raja Al Majdalawi, Hani Muhanna, Farouk Al Fishawi, Ahmad Budayr, Sabrine and Mohammad Abu Dawood.
