The heat of New Year’s Eve concerts has taken effect throughout Lebanon as sponsors are flooding every street corner with posters of female and male singers that will be performing on New Year’s Eve. Some of the brightest names of the music industry like Nancy Ajram, Ragheb Alama, Najwa Karam and many more will be performing in Lebanon.
This year will witness a large number of audience for New Year's Eve concerts, despite the extremely high prices of ticket prices, which reach up to 700 US dollars. Ragheb will be holding his concert at the Al Bayal hotel with two of the most popular singers Nancy and Haifa Wahbi. Their concert tickets witnessed high sales and are on the verge of being sold out, according to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat. The same hotel will also hold performances by Iraqi singer Kathem El Saher and Maysam Nahas, in addition to another concert by Assi Hilani, Amal Hijazi and belly dancer Samara.
The Venice Hotel will witness two different performances in its ballrooms, one by Kuwaiti singers Nabil Shu’ail, Abdullah Ruwaishid and Egyptian singer Shireen, while the other will be a performance by Najwa Karam and Fadel Shaker. Ticket prices for their concerts range from 225 US dollars and goes up to 700.
The Coral Beach Hotel is scheduled to have a concert by Egyptian singers Amr Diab and Shireen Wajdi. Lebanese singer George Wassouf has announced that he will hold his concert at his private nightclub “Wassouf Club”.
Other singers have revealed that they will hold their performances outside Lebanon, as Nawal Al Zoughbi announced she will hold her concert in the United States of America, where she is currently holding a tour. –Albawaba.com
