'Myriam Fares The Journey' documentary has been released on Netflix on June 3, where the Lebanese star talks about her experience with miscarriage and the hard times she faced during lockdown in the last couple of years as a result of Coronavirus spread.
In the documentary, which is an hour and 11 minutes in duration, Myriam Fares revealed for the first time that she suffered a miscarriage, in an experience described as the most difficult and that still affects her psyche until this day.
She said: "In July 2017, I found out that I was pregnant with my second child, and at that time I had health problems that affected my body. I felt that a part of me was gone. I felt guilty even though it was not my fault. I felt depressed and lonely. A feeling that is indescribable.. which It broke me.. I hope a day will come and I will reconcile with my condition."
The Lebanese artist added that this tragic incident has affected her greatly, to the point that she stopped all her projects on the personal and artistic levels, and she felt that she was living without a goal or a dream.
The documentary also revealed the artist's life and the problems she faced during lockdown, and how she tried to use this period to get closer to her family, including husband Danny Mitri, eldest son Jayden, and newborn Dave, whom she gave birth to after having a miscarriage, describing Dave as an "opportunity" given by life.
Although Fares has received great support from the public on her Netflix documentary, which received a very high viewership, the Lebanese artist was attacked and ridiculed by a large number of followers who saw that the experience did not require a whole Netflix documentary.
On the same hand, many fans saw 'Myriam Fares The Journey' as an opportunity to get to know the Lebanese artist's husband, Danny Mitri, as she keeps his identity private since they got married. But Myriam did not film him and she still wants to keep him away from the limelight.
And finally, Myriam took advantage of the Netflix documentary opportunity to release her new music Ghaddara Ya Donia.
