Egyptian singer Mohammad Foad is scheduled to fly off to Greece in the upcoming few days along with the cast of his new film “Ghawi Hubb” to begin shooting the first scenes. Foad finally made an agreement with director Ahmad Al Badri to direct the film after the withdrawal of director Mohammad Kamal Al Shinawi.
Mohammad has chosen the gulf of Greece to be the first shooting location after which he will return to Cairo and then to Sharm El Sheikh to film the remaining scenes. Foad begun a very strict diet for his role in the film, which includes action scenes that he must be fit to perform. Foad stressed that if he wants to be able to move freely he must take off some of his weight before shooting of the scenes begins.
The film had been going through endless obstacles making the singer lose hope in it ever being completed. First the film was delayed several times for different reasons to be followed by the unfortunate incidents of the apology of the producer Majdi Al Huwari from being unable to produce the film and the withdrawal of director Mohammad due the constant interference of Foad in all the details of the film.
The biggest blow that has hit the film and its lead actor, Mohammad Foad, is the sudden withdrawal of the leading actress Hala Shiha, who stopped coming to the filming scenes and had closed her mobile phone making her unreachable.
Hala justified her withdrawal from the film as being a result of the pulling out of the director, who wanted to make some alterations to the script making her part of more importance. Foad refused the alterations to the script in turn making Hala’s role in the film a mere secondary one, a matter the actress rejected. Hala was very eager to take part in the film and had even turned down Egyptian actor Ahmad Al Sakka’s nomination to star in his upcoming film “The Italian War”.
The movie revolves around a young man who falls into numerous relationships, leading his brother, who is a cop, to seek his help in catching a drug smuggler. The cop suggests that his brother make the daughter of the smuggler have a relationship with her in order to catch her father, but fate makes him actually fall in love with her and a dilemma begins of what he must do.
