ALBAWABA - 2024's Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig recently went viral after sharing a video of herself singing to Jay-Z's popular Empire State Of Mind featuring Alicia Keys on top of the Empire State Building, according to the New York Post.

Theilvig who was lip-syncing to Jay-Z's popular song in a 20-second TikTok video, received backlash from users on social media after saying the "N-word" which is present as part of the lyrics.

Her lip-syncing of the racial word in question was referred to by many as "irresponsible," while others debated that she only said it as part of the song and believed that the outrage she's still receiving is "uncalled for."

One user added, "I can’t believe I’m witnessing this in real-time," while another wrote, "Girl what?!..."

On the other hand, some took to her defense with one saying, "Yall are some haters she clearly was smiling."

"A white woman sings a song by a black man and gets called racist by the woke mob" and added, "She has nothing to apologize about."

Denmark's Victoria Kjaer Theilvig became the first Dane to win Miss Universe 2024. The 21-year-old competitive dancer, entrepreneur, and aspiring lawyer defeated over 120 other participants to win Mexico City's annual beauty pageant on Nov. 16, 2024.
