30-year-old lingerie model, actress, and TV personality, Gemma Atkinson, has apparently caught the eye of a Sheikh.
Offering her a large sum of money, she claims he tried to "buy" her and take her back to Dubai as his wife, reports the Mirror.
“I was asked to go and live with him in Dubai. He wanted to pay for me to go… he wanted me to be his wife,” she said.
The fair-haired, green-eyed English beauty must really have enchanted the Sheikh to make him approach her team with such an absurd request. The star, who is known for her role as Carly Hope in the British TV soap Emmerdale, seemed indifferent to the wealthy future he held for her.
“He was a Sheikh so it would have probably been in a big palace or something."
Gemma said she'd never met the Sheikh and politely declined his generous request to "buy" her, probably crushing all his hopes and dreams, and leaving him wondering where else to spend his fortune!
“I just thought ‘Oh gosh, no.’ I didn’t follow it up. I just left it to my agent to politely decline.”
With a list of exes including the likes of Christiano Ronaldo, the star confessed she gets a lot of male fan mail, and is accustomed to strange requests.
“I once had a guy who wrote asking for a photo of me smoking with a cigarette holder. I’m not sure why he wanted that. But it’s flattering.”
