Lebanese singer Maya Nasri is placing the final touches on her first album produced by Rotana, after breaking her contract with Alam El Phan Production Company.
Maya has been commuting between Lebanon and Egypt to select the songs for the album, scheduled for release in two months. A number of prominent composers from both countries contributed to the musical score.
In the meantime, Maya plans on filming the music video for her song “Haba Haba” (Bit by Bit), from her latest album, upon Rotana’s request, sources claim.
Maya recently joined Rotana and is now on the company’s list of top clients.
She stated that she is hopes Rotana will help boost her career, and that her new contract provides her security and protects her rights as a singer.
Maya entered the entertainment world as a fashion model and beauty queen, which led to her successful acting and singing career.
Maya stated, out of all the performance roles she has experienced, her number one choice is singing, which in her opinion, is a combination of all the rest.
