ALBAWABA - Popular tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee who is best known as 'MKBHD' found himself in hot water after news circulated that he outed himself illegally speeding in a children's zone. Critical comments quickly swarmed social media as users judged the YouTuber for being reckless.
Even fellow YouTubers like Some Ordinary Gamers (also known as Mutahar) made a video where they expressed their disappointment with Marques Brownlee for speeding recklessly in a children's zone where kids could cross the road.
This all started because of Brownlee's latest sponsored video titled "How My Video Gear is Changing!" where he showcased himself in first-person view speeding as the speedometer went up to 96 mph in a 35 mph children's zone. The clip in question was deleted from the video itself which resulted in even more backlash.

Brownlee later took to his official X account (formerly known as Twitter) and said that what he did was "pretty stupid". MKBHD later explained that he cut the clip in question as there was no reason to leave it in.
"There's no reason to leave that clip in (there was no reason to include it in the first place)".
One user on Musk's X (formerly known as Twiter) replied to Brownlee's apology comment and said:
"It's definitely the most reckless thing you've done, but in the last month or so you continue to damage your reputation. First, the wallpaper app, then the speeding, and now you're doing 9-minute sponsor videos you once said you'd never do. It's digging into your overall credibility".
Recently, MKBHD also went viral on social media for a less serious issue where he was charging unreasonable prices for his new wallpaper app.
