The friendship tie that binds Egyptian actors Hussein Fahmi and Mahmoud Qabil has come undone after the latter was forced to file a lawsuit against Hussein. Mahmoud accused Hussein of insulting him when he was held guest on the show "Qasr Al Kalam", hosted by Wafa Al Kilani.
Wafa had asked Hussein how he describes Mahmoud Qabil, to which he answered, "Mahmoud is a liar, and he is not angry at him because he does not really know him or know what he does." Hussein added, "Mahmoud is not considered to be a gifted actor and only acts to make ends meet and earn a living."
According to Sayidaty.net, Hussein also stated that Qabil's statements that he was stripped of his position from the United Nations as a Goodwill Ambassador are not true. Hussein stressed he was never fired by the UN and accused Mahmoud of being jealous of him and his prestigious history and achievements in the acting world. He added that the likes of Mahmoud have no worth, and if he was a real man he would confront him. Hussein said he will never forgive Mahmoud and the day will come when he shows the world what he really is.
