At the Elie Saba Studio, Lebanese singer Madeline Mattar recorded her latest song titled “Ahl Al Gharam” (People of love). The song is written by Saudi poet Sarah Al Hajery and composed by Egyptian singer Issam Kareeka.

Despite the fact that the writer of the song is Saudi, the words are in the Egyptian dialect. This is not the first time Al Hajery presents a song in the Egyptian dialect. She had previously wrote the words for the song “Wahshani Ya Masr” (I miss you Egypt) that was sung by Algerian singer Fula and composed by Issam Kareeka.

According to the London based Elaph, Madeline expressed her joy over the song that brought artists from different countries around the Arab world together. Madeline added that Al Hajery is the one responsible for bringing different nationality together.
