ALBAWABA - Macklemore, an American rapper, has released a new song called "Hind's Hall 2" that incorporates collaborations with numerous Palestinian musicians.
Dawn reports that the second version of his song "Hind's Hall," which has been used several times in pro-Palestine rallies, "Hind's Hall 2," has been uploaded.
The track includes Palestinian rapper MC Abdul, Palestinian-American novelist Amer Zahr, and vocalist Anees Mokhiber.
As with the last song, the musician has indicated that all revenues would benefit the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
The Los Angeles Children's Grove of Palestine also provided photos of Palestinian children for the song.
In the song, Macklemore addresses US Vice President and Democratic presidential contender Kamala Harris, stating, "I don't know if you're listening, Kamala, but stop supporting arms and money; you're not going to win Michigan." We are resolute, and we will not swap sides because the whole world is now Palestinian."
The song is titled after the structure "Hind's Hall," which was dedicated after six-year-old Palestinian Hind Rajab, who was murdered in Gaza during the Columbia University Palestine demonstrations.
