The first contestant from the upcoming singing competition The Voice Kids (Arabic edition) has been revealed.
Syrian child singer Majd Ismail will put his vocals to the test in front of a celebrity judging panel when the much-anticipated show airs later this week. Sitting on the panel is Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram, next to the other judges whose names are yet to be announced by MBC Group, the channel that airs the program.
But Majd isn't about to go on that big stage unprepared. The gifted kid has been warming up his vocal chords with the help of well-known voice coach Saleem Shahood.
Saleem posted a clip on his Facebook account from one of his training sessions with Majd, which received a lot of positive feedback from Saleem's followers.
For a young boy, Majd's voice is very expressive, emotional and impressive. Looks like this prodigy has gotten a head start in the competition!
Do you think kid-loving Nancy will fall in love with little Majd's big voice? We sure hope so!
