ALBAWABA - Lebanese artist Fadi Ibrahim died on Monday at the age of 67, after being transferred to intensive care in a hospital in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
According to media sources, the Lebanese star passed away as a result of suffering from complications of diabetes and dialysis over the past months.
Days after the death of Fadi Ibrahim, his mother, Nola Saied Marouf passed away on Wednesday. A joint funeral was held for Fadi Ibrahim and his mother in Lebanon amid the presence of many Lebanese artists and celebrities, including singer Ragheb Alama and actor Bassem Moughnieh.

Fadi Ibrahim's health case:
The family of Fady Ibrahim announced earlier that the actor was placed in intensive care following the deterioration of his medical condition. They said in a statement: "After the long time, he spent in the treatment period, Fady Ibrahim was transferred to intensive care, and visits were prohibited from him."
Fadi Ibrahim's family asked people to pray for the Lebanese actor and wish him a speedy recovery, after his health condition deteriorated due to his suffering from diabetes, as the Actors Syndicate in Lebanon asked artists to donate blood for Fadi.
Doctors had to amputate Ibrahim's left leg.

Lebanese presenter Carla Haddad posted on her official Instagram account following the death of Fadi Ibrahim, she said: "Goodbye Lebanese drama star #Fadi_Ibrahim. We will miss your constant smile and special presence."
Lebanese TV anchor Rabia Al Zayyat also posted on Instagram mourning the death of Fadi Ibrahim. She wrote: "The storm will not blow twice! But his works, talent, presence, smile, and morals will not be erased by the storms of oblivion. He is a large part of our memory and one of the glory makers of Lebanese drama. He was insisting on life, but death prevailed! The creative actor Fadi Ibrahim has passed away."
"It is very difficult," Lebanese star Toni Issa also shared on Facebook in a heartbreaking post, in which he added: "But in the end, this is the wisdom of God. May you rest in heaven, because here you are certainly better and there is no torment or pain.. until we meet, my dear friend."
About Fadi Ibrahim:
Ibrahim was born in 1956 to an Australian mother and a Lebanese father. His first acting experience was in the series “Al-Motwa7esh" in 1980, in which he excelled by playing the role of a foreign man.
Fadi joined and starred in famous Lebanese series including Kul elhub kul elghram, Bride of Beirut season 3, A'nbar 6, as well as Al-saher, and Alakat Kasa.
Not only Lebanese artworks, but the actor also participated in many Egyptian works, the most recent of which was "Qarit Al-Fanjan" in 2021, along with the Egyptian artist Ahmed Fahmy.
