ALBAWABA - Lady Gaga isn't the kind to wear a store-bought gown on the red carpet. You may remember this lady from the time she rocked a bra that was on fire, but she also wore dresses made entirely of raw flesh, human hair, and Kermit the Frog toys.

Unsurprisingly, the singer wore a gown that is up there with her most extravagant ensembles ever for Thursday's global premiere of her new HBO performance special, Gaga Chromatica Ball, in Los Angeles. For the event, Gaga wore a Selva white leather dress, which had a plunging one-shouldered neckline, little metal ring cuts, and an enormous white structure that cascaded from her shoulders to her waist.

"They asked what kind it was, and I said I don't know; I'm not a mechanic," the Grammy winner posted on Instagram with an Instagram shot of her garment, adding, "On the red carpet, I told them it was a car part." Though we aren't automotive specialists, it reminds us of a bumper that the designers bent into a bustier.

Along with the dress, Gaga sported her trademark white high-heeled platform shoes and a black manicure that complemented her newly colored raven hair and baby bangs. The final touches to her glam look were a brick-red lip, bleached brows that she's been wearing since March, bronze eyeshadow, and a matte bronze lip.

Gaga changed into a second stunning ensemble—a dramatic black gown, a matching face mask, and an ultra-voluminous lacy jacket—after the red carpet portion of the event and participated in a film-related Q&A.

Despite being unwell with COVID, Gaga managed to play five gigs on the Chromatica Ball Tour during the Q&A. She told the press during the event, "I did five shows with COVID," as reported by People. I didn't want to disappoint any of my followers, so I told my staff, "I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable at work. You don't have to perform or work that day, but I'm going to do the show."

"From my perspective, the fans were putting themselves in danger every day by coming to the show," she concluded. I persisted through all of my rapid costume changes. My apologies. I really apologize.
