ALBAWABA - Famous Kuwaiti Journalist and TV presenter Fajer Al-Saeed was recently stopped and arrested by local police after insulting Iraq's Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani in a statement sparking widespread controversy across social media, according to Kuwaiti sources.
Amid her critical comments about Iraq's Al Sudani, Fajer Al-Saeed took to Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote in Arabic, "I will appear before the Kuwaiti Public Prosecution in a case filed by Mr. Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani, submitted by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, due to my opinions and criticisms."

She added, "Any self-confident politician would allow freedom in their country. From the bottom of my heart, from all non-Iraqi people to the Iraqis, may God help Iraq and its people."
According to Shafaq News, Fajer Al-Saeed revealed on Friday that Al Sudani sued her over "her opinions."
Moreover, Iraqi journalist Zainab Rabee took to her official Facebook account and wrote, "I will continue to escalate my stance on issues related to the suppression of freedoms and rights, violations of the constitution, leaks, corruption, failure, and mismanagement within the government and Al-Sudani's office."
