Members of the more conservative Muslim social media community attacked Syrian actress Kinda Hanna after she posted a short clip from her late father's funeral, in addition to several posts indicating that she's Christian.

As if she wasn't in enough grief, Kinda was verbally insulted for her religion.
Some of the comments were terribly barbaric, wishing her father a place in Hell for not converting to Islam before his death.
While hundreds of Kinda's Christian fans argued back and forth with the cyber trolls, many of her Muslim fans stood by her side and condemned her haters' actions.

As for Kinda, she lashed out at them by saying, "I'm not Muslim, but I respect Islam and my religion, but first of all I respect myself."
She added, "Please would anyone with a religious comment go to the pages dedicated to that subject. I'm an artist and an actress, those who love me do so for my talent, but those trying to misbehave on my page will be blocked immediately.
"So if you don't like it, do me a favor and unfollow me and if you see me don't look at me."
Last April, Lebanese stars Nancy Ajram, Najwa Karam, Elissa, Myriam Fares, Cyrine Abdel Nour, Pascale Machaalani, Jenny Asper, Wael Kfoury, Fairouz, Myriam Klink and Nicole Saba were amongst the celebs under 'cyber' attack for celebrating Easter.
But several singing Christian soldiers weren't going to let this battle go without a fight. Saba responded to her verbal attackers by telling them to "get lost and stay away from me."
"Seriously, what a disgrace some of your impoliteness and comments are, which I won't even bother with putting into words. All I'm going to say is get lost and stay away from me if you have any atom of decency left. It is no honor of mine for you to comment on any of my pictures or work. Learn how to respect other people's religion and rituals and you'll then be treated equally, you ignorants," Nicole hit back.
