ALBAWABA - With Mark Ruffalo allegedely returning as the Hulk in Captain America's upcoming movie 'Captain America: Brave New World', Marvel's president Kevin Feige stated that the Hollywood actor will not be receiving a solo Hulk movie, according to Bounding Into Comics.
This normally caused a devastating blow among fans of Marvel's Hulk as the green giant hasn't received a solo movie since 'The Incredible Hulk' which premiered in 2008. In our eyes, Marvel dropped the ball with its rendition of Hulk in recent movies, destroying what made him one of the best characters in the universe for his complexity, especially in the notorious 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law'.
Kevin Feige: Mark Ruffalo will never get another Hulk movie
According to CBR, The news came after Mark Ruffalo sat in an interview which was hosted at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and added that his role as the Hulk didn't deserve a solo movie as stated by Kevin Fiege because the character is only good as a supporting role rather than a main one.
Ruffalo added "Yeah. Kevin was like, "What would you like to do?" And he said, 'What would you do if you had a standalone Hulk movie?' I said, 'Well, I'd like to take him from this raging maniac to kind of this integrated character.'
Kevin said "Okay. We'll do that over the course of four movies. We'll never give you a standalone Hulk... Don't mean to burst your bubble, but that's just not going to happen... So, we'll do it over four movies, how does that sound?"
