Whether it's hot or cold, the show must go on! The town of Ehden in Lebanon is famous for its music festival and cold weather during the summer evenings. But the chilly weather didn't stop Iraqi superstar Kazem El Saher from holding his grand performance at the end of the Ehdeniyat International Festival.
Sporting a winter coat on stage, Kazem started off with one song, after which he told the audience: “At yesterday's performance, the audience requested that I sing my old collection of songs. Today, you have the same request.”
He then looked at the children in the audience and said: “I see children amongst you and they too deserve I sing them a special song.” Kazem delivered and sang his famous children's tune “Al Baniyah” (The Girl), followed by a number of his most popular hits.
Kazem's performance was delayed by four days due to the tragic bombings in Tripoli. Nonetheless, the show went on and his performance was as successful and elegant as ever.
