Country star Kacey Musgraves had a minor but relatable wardrobe malfunction during her appearance on “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend.
The singer, who performed two songs from her upcoming album “Deeper Well”, forgot to remove a light blue clip from her hair before joining host Sydney Sweeney and guest Glen Powell for the final sign-off.
Musgraves noticed the blip after a fan tweeted a photo of her and Sweeney looking at each other admiringly, with the clip clearly visible on the side of her head. “The clip. I forgot to remove the clip,” Musgraves quoted the tweet and added a face-palm emoji.

Musgraves, who won four Grammys in 2019 for her album “Golden Hour”, is set to release her fifth studio album “Deeper Well” on March 15. She told PEOPLE that the album reflects her personal growth and self-discovery in her mid-30s.
“I just feel like I’m right where I need to be,” she said. “I know myself better than in previous years, previous albums, and I just feel like I’m right where I need to be.”
Musgraves also collaborated with Boy Smells to create a candle inspired by her new album, which she said smells like “hugging someone familiar”. The candle, which is available on the Boy Smells website, features notes of incense, black pepper, guaiac wood, and raspberry.
Musgraves is not the first celebrity to have a wardrobe mishap on live TV. In 2017, singer Katy Perry accidentally flashed her underwear during her performance of “Bon Appétit” on “SNL”. Perry later joked about the incident on Instagram, writing “I was wearing underwear though”.
