The much-anticipated film "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" premiered last week and we were super excited for Jordan's Wadi Rum to feature in it.

Wadi Rum was used as a filming location for Star Wars's "Jedah."

"Jedha was once a sacred site for those wishing to seek spiritual fulfilment. Followers of The Force would make the pilgrimage to the Mecca-like holy Jedi city. The small moon is now occupied by the Galactic Empire, and the streets are prone to the occasional rebel scuffle," writes Movie Pilot.

Wadi Rum was also featured in Matt Damon's Mars movie "The Martian," the classic "Lawrence of Arabia" and many other Hollywood blockbusters.
