Live Nation, which promotes Lopez's concerts, said that Lopez needed a break to spend time with her "children, family, and close friends," although she would not elaborate.
She planned to use this "This Is Me... Now" tour, her first in five years, to promote both her first solo record in ten years and the accompanying film.
Lopez's dating status may or may not be relevant. Her marriage to Ben Affleck, which lasted less than two years, has recently been in the news due to reports that the couple has been living apart.
The original plan was for the tour to begin in Orlando, Florida, on June 26 and end in Houston, Texas, on August 31. Ticketmaster customers who bought their tickets via Live Nation will get their money back instantly.

Among the many sightings of the celebrity couple in the last month is an appearance at Ben Affleck's daughter's high school graduation celebration on May 30. The rumors have gone unremarked upon by both Affleck and Lopez have remained silent about the rumors.
