Acid jazz crooners Jamiroquai have been confirmed for the line-up of Sandance in Dubai on November 15.
The band, who are fronted by Jay Kay and just set off on a summer tour, was officially announced on Tuesday along with disco legends Chic, featuring Nile Rodgers, who performed at Glastonbury last weekend.
The organisers said additional artists and international DJs will be announced in due course.
It had been widely thought that Jamiroquai, whose hits include ‘Virtual Insanity’ and ‘Cosmic Girl’, would headline the event, even though no official statement had been made.
Meanwhile, Chic’s tracks include ‘Le Freak’ and ‘I Want Your Love’.
