ALBAWABA - The speculation started when a tweet alleging that actor Iain Armitage had performed his Shahadah in London went viral.
The star of Young Sheldon, Iain Armitage, reportedly took his Shahadah (religious profession) in London's Leicester Square earlier this week, sparking widespread social media speculation that he is a Muslim.
The disappearance is more likely to be a platform issue, but other fans are certain that the person pictured was a lookalike. Others claim it led to Armitage's "removal" from the show's Google cast list.
However, it's also true that Tom Hiddleston doesn't actually appear in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse, despite his listing as a cast member. These kinds of errors are common and shouldn't raise red flags.
The change in listing hasn't gone unnoticed, even though Google is obviously making a joke with only four episodes of Young Sheldon Season 7 remaining.
It's hilarious because I was like, "Where's Dale?" when I first saw this screenshot. It was completely invisible to me that Sheldon had gone AWOL! One Reddit user shared their thoughts.
"Who cares if it's a little weird?" Another person said: whereas one-third mentioned the whispers. Presumably, this is due to his recent conversion to Islam. Nevertheless, I am unable to confirm the veracity of this report at this time.
While the exact date of the Google bug's remedy remains unknown, evidence has shown that the issue is unrelated to previous, unfounded claims. Only internet speculation has proven that the actor from Young Sheldon is indeed a Muslim.
It is still unknown if Armitage was indeed in London or whether the person in the viral picture was only a stand-in. In April, the actor Young Sheldon informed Variety that he wouldn't be returning to Los Angeles until June. I get to return to Los Angeles in June, and that's why I'm so happy. He went on to say, "It will be fantastic because I get to hang out with Annie, I earn my pilot's license, and I get to conduct tours at Warner Bros.
