Will we be getting a bit of Baywatch and Bollywood in Dubai today?
Rumor has it that Baywatch star David Hasselhoff will be joining Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri for a celebrity launch at the Four Seasons in Dubai, according to Gulf News. 'The Hoff' is a regular in the region, having filmed scenes in Abu Dhabi for Baywatch as well as acting as a celebrity judge for the best film at the Arab Film Studio last year.
Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri, fresh from her fundraising effort in Kenya to save the last male black rhino, will also be coming. The American-born model has the bright lights of Hollywood in her sights as she will be appearing in Paul Feig's latest action comedy Spy.
French celebrity chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten will be opening two new restaurants at the Four Seasons resort at Jumeirah Beach. Jean-Georges is behind a string of award-winning restaurants worldwide, including the eponymous Jean-Georges in New York, a three-starred Michelin restaurant. JG Tokyo in Japan and Eden Rock in St Barths are also part of his collection. His two new Dubai ventures will include a fine dining experience and a more casual venue.
