The agent of Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi sent a press release in response to shocking news over a number of internet websites about Amal’s support for having children out of wedlock.
The release stated that some are trying to ruin Amal’s name by disseminating false statements on her behalf.
Amal has denied all the rumors during an interview with the Lebanese satellite channel Al Jadeed TV . The Lebanese pop icon stressed that support of having a child out of wedlock is against her beliefs, traditions and religion therefore she would never make such a statement.
But she did not stop there -- she has filed a lawsuit against all the websites that published the false rumors without verifying them with her first and also for not apologizing upon posting them.
