Hala was attempting her first foray into the world of hosting for the MBC Egypt show when things when drastically awry.
Things were going far from swimmingly for nervous Hala when she heard the assistant director making fun of her performance.
The cruel comments sent the actress over the edge and she was soon throwing a star-quality diva strop.
When the show's director, Tareq Fahmi, refused to give in to Hala's demands that he fire the assistant, Hala reportedly stormed off set and refused to be a part of the show.
Unsurprisingly, rumor has it that Hala will be sticking to acting from now on.
