Moroccan actress and singer Dunia Batma attracted attention today in a published interview where she revealed who the highest-paid actress in the GCC area—including Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE—was.
The answer, according to Batma, is Dunia Batma herself.
According to news reports, fury rose from a stream of unnamed Gulf actresses, though the identities of these angry actresses were revealed; it was unclear, however, whether these actresses were aware that Batma meant highest-paid Moroccan actress in the Gulf.
Batma did not reveal where she had come by this information.
