ALBAWABA - Hoyoverse recently took to its official Genshin Impact YouTube channel and revealed its upcoming Natlan character, Kinich. By the time of writing this article, the trailer received around 150,000 views and 21,000 likes as players showcased their excitement in the comment section.
As always, the trailer received different versions including Japanese, Chinese, and Korean voice-over videos to appeal to a wider audience.
During the Genshin Impact trailer, Kinich is accompanied by his adorable companion Ajaw who considers Kinich to be his servant. He's also the self-proclaimed "Almighty Dragonlord."
Genshin Impact teases new character: Kinich and Ajaw
Kinich seems to carry himself pretty well with his calm and kind demeanor while Ajaw brings the chaotic energy out of the duo. The trailer in question didn't showcase any gameplay elements like the character's kit but rather offered players an animated short to get to know the duo.
The upcoming five-star unit will use a claymore as their main weapon and will use the Dendro element. Genshin Impact's official account described Kinich and Ajaw as:
"Though Ajaw often has a bone to pick with how Kinich makes a living, in his heart of hearts, he believes that as the Almighty Dragonlord, K'uhul Ajaw, such trifling matters should be beneath his concern.
But if he doesn't come up with a hair-brained scheme or three... Well, it's not like that tenacious little cockroach is gonna off himself, now, is he?"

Players can expect to pull for Kinich during Genshin Imapct's 5.0 version release on Sep. 18, 2024. He's among other five-star units coming in 5.0 including Mualani and Kachina.
