ALBAWABA - Fans of Game of Thrones and auctioneers recently took a Heritage Auctions event in Dallas, USA to place their bids on several items from the beloved HBO series including a replica of the dragon-forged Iron throne, clothing, armor, and jewelry.
The items as a whole went for $21 million with the most expensive bid being the dragon-forged Iron Throne which sold at the auction in question for a whopping $1.49 million after a six-minute bidding war between collectors and fans.

According to Heritage Auctions, the event garnered more than a whopping 4,500 bidders $21.1 million in bids making it its second-best entertainment event.
Other than the iconic dragon-forged Iron Throne, items like Jon Snow’s signature sword sold for $400,000 while his night's watch ensemble with a heavy cape garnered $337,500 through a series of bidding wars, as reported by ABC News.
Moreover, Daenerys' stunning grey dress sold for $112,500 over its $100,000 bid while Cersei's red dress fetched $137,500 compared to its starting bid of $122,500.
Joe Maddalena who is the Heritage Auctions' vice president said that he knew fans would resonate with the Game of Thrones auction in question.
He said, "These are extraordinary treasures made by Emmy-winning costume designers and prop makers, who worked tirelessly to adapt George R.R. Martin’s wonderful novels. People wanted a piece of that Game of Thrones magic".
