ALBAWABA - American-Moroccan rapper French Montana recently made headlines after reports confirmed that he got engaged to a Dubai Princess named Sheikha Mahra.
Engagement season is in full swing this month. This comes after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's engagement news, which took the internet by storm. According to TMZ, citing a French representative, Monatana and Mahra got engaged during Paris Fashion Week in June.
Their engagement might've come as a surprise to many, but the couple has been spotted together on multiple occasions in mosques, luxurious restaurants, and Paris' Pont des Arts since 2024.
French Montana gets engaged to Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra amid divorce
Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is an Emirati princess and a member of the Dubai ruling family. The 31-year-old princess is best known for her generous contributions to the Emirati community and her passion for horse riding.
According to Grazia, Sheikha Mahra obtained her degree from a private institute in Dubai and later made her way to London after graduation to pursue a career in International Relations.
French Montana and Sheikha Mahra's engagement comes shortly after she divorced Emirati businessman and royal Sheikh Mana, with whom she shares a daughter.
On the contrary, Montana was married to businesswoman and designer Nadeen Kharbouch from 2007 to 2014. The two share a 16-year-old son together.
Although the engagement is official, details about the wedding are yet to be announced.
