Don’t worry guys, Egypt’s much-loved singer Mohamed Fouad was not really arrested. The images of him being apprehended in Paris turned out to be part of a new TV series called Al-Daher, in which he plays the role of an officer who falls in love with a Jewish woman.

The series also features Hassan Yousef and Mohamed Lotfy. The footage of Fouad being arrested in Paris seems quite realistic, but it’s only part of the series in which he turns into a spy.
