Famous plastic surgeon Dr. Sa'ad Fayoumi, head of plastic surgery department in Ain Al Shams hospital, revealed that most plastic surgeries done to actresses make them look worse than they did and gives them a sense of superficiality. Dr. Sa’ad stressed that in the recent years, Egyptian female stars have become obsessed with plastic surgeries to the point of going over board.

The first star to do a plastic surgery in Egypt was the late actress and belly dancer Na'ema Akef. Among the famous people who had done surgeries was Mervat Amin who had breast enlargements in the beginnings of her career as well as Lebanese diva singer Fairouz who had a nose job.

Dr. Fayoumi revealed that Egyptian actresses Sofia Al Omari and Elham Shaheen both used Botox to try and look younger. Omari used Botox for her eyebrows but the job was not done right and now she cannot control the muscle as she used to. Elham tried to use Botox for her upper lip and the same result happened to her and now her upper lip looks a little bit loose.

Dr. Fayoumi criticized Nadia Al-Jundi who had several surgeries to look 40 years younger and said that the main aim behind the plastic surgery is making people look good and not fake.

Among the new faces Dr. Fayoumi said that the most beautiful face is Riham Abdul Gafour, and said that Hanan Turk's face is more suitable to perform the role of a mischievous girl and not complicated roles. Meanwhile Muna Zaki has the face that makes the role of a helpless girl more suitable for her.

With regards to male stars, Dr. Fayoumi said that the most attractive actor is Mahmoud Kabeel then comes Hussein Fahmi who knows how to balance between sports and his career to keep himself fit. –Albawaba.com
