UK pop band Rixton and US R&B singer Tinashe to play RedFestDXB.

The festival takes place next February 12 and 13 at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre - with other artists confirmed including Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea, Irish pop-rockers The Script, Miami R&B star Cris Cab, Don’t Tell ‘Em performer Jeremih, Hideaway singer Kiesza and newcomer Ella Eyre.

Rixton are a British four-piece who were discovered by famous American talent manager Scooter Braun, the man behind acts including Justin Bieber and The Wanted.

The group broke out with the international hit Me and My Broken Heart, and are set to support Ariana Grande on her North American tour next year.

Meanwhile their debut album Let the Road will come out in January, featuring collaborations with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Mike Posner.

Tinashe is just 21 years old but the Los Angeles native is already a showbiz veteran, having appeared in animated film The Polar Express and bagged a recurring role as Jake’s girlfriend Celeste in Two and a Half Men.

This year alone Tinashe has had a U.S. hit with 2 On (featuring Schoolboy Q) and collaborated with Calvin Harris, Usher and ASAP Rocky.

Her debut album Aquarius came out this month, scoring not just a spot in the Billboard top 20 but also widespread critical acclaim for its dusky R&B sound - with rave reviews in publications from The Los Angeles Times to NME.

Tickets for RedFestDXB are available now starting at Dhs350 from www.redfestdxb.com.
