Dubai is the star of a music video that was released last week. And when we say star, we don't just mean a passing glance - rather a full-blown music video shot in various locations around Dubai.
The music video was performed by US-based indie rock band Imagine Dragons. They performed their song - 'Thunder' in Dubai Design District. But they're not restricted to that.
The video takes viewers on a tour around Sheikh Zayed Road, a walk around Dubai Marina, the Gold Souq in Old Dubai, City Walk in Jumeirah and one of the footbridges on the Dubai Canal. This visual tour around the city - tastefully shot in black and white could not be complete without the Burj Khalifa showing up.
The music video follows three aliens descending from space - looking both amazed and curious about the city. They rove around town exploring every corner of the city. They even take a ride along Sheikh Zayed Road in Ferraris! Tons of Ferraris.
The appearance of the aliens is supplanted by the monotonous look of the members of the band - the song, which is highly poetic, celebrates each individual's uniqueness.
