Jackie Chan's upcoming action flick "Kung Fu Yoga" has already begun filming in Dubai.

After blocking the Shaikh Zayed Road’s DIFC area and Downtown Dubai for a super early filming shift, Chan's crew have now moved on to another iconic location: the Jumeirah Lake Towers area, AKA JLT.

A helicopter was spotted hovering over the JLT area, suspected to be filming a vertical shot of the city's skyscraper-scattered landscape.

Although neither Chan nor his co-star Sony Sood were anywhere to be seen in JLT, passersby spotted them filming in DIFC and Downtown Dubai alongside a line-up of supercars on Friday and Saturday mornings.

The Chinese-Indian production involves a lot of thrilling car chases, according to eyewitnesses. One of them even included a vehicle with Dubai Police markings on it. Dubai's wide roads are perfect for this kinda action.

But we hope the Dubai heat didn't get to the 61-year-old actor, who was being shielded from the sun by an assistant with an umbrella before filming his scenes, according to Gulf News.

If you're yet to bump into the cast of Kung Fu Yoga, don't fret. They're scheduled for a long 33 days of shooting in the city, so you're bound to see them kick ass in one corner of Dubai or the other.
