You don’t want to mess around with Nicki Minaj.
A member of the security team working her show in Dubai on Friday night found themselves in hot water when they were seemingly caught using their mobile phone.
Video sees the no-nonsense star stopping her performance of Feeling Myself and storming over to the side of stage where the man was standing.
Holding her hand out, she then took his phone off him and tossed it across the stage before carrying on with the song.
Nicki fans have since flooded social media with their views on the incident.
One shared: "When you're getting paid a lot of money to protect someone for a specific amount of time, you spend that time protecting them, especially while in a very public environment. Basically, though it wasn't pc what she did, he had it coming."
And: “He wasn’t doing his JOB!!! What if someone tried to jump on stage and harm her and he’s busy texting. Yeah she was right.”
Others thought she could have handled it differently, sharing: "Ok she didn't have to throw it like that geez just hand it over to someone in the back or something.... (sic)"
